年[nî; Liân]字讀本調或輕聲有辨義的功能. 我以前跟著漢文老師用文言音讀王羲之的藍亭集序[永和九年]時, 很清楚也很驚訝地 聽到老師唸Éng-hô kiú--liân. 原來kiú--liân[káu--nî]是the ninth year; kiú-liân[káu-nî]是nine years. 以下再補兩個白話字聖經的例子: Hap-kai [哈該Haggai] 2:10 Tāi-lī-o͘ ông jī--nî, káu-ge̍h jī-cha̍p-sì ji̍t, i̍ On the twenty-fourth day of the ninth month, in the second year of Darius, i̍ Í-se-kiat [以西結Ezekiel] 1:1 Tng saⁿ-cha̍p--nî, sì-ge̍h chhoe-gō͘, i̍ In the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, on the fifth day of the month, i̍ 在文言文裏, [五月]唸ngó͘--goa̍t 是指the fifth month,相當於白話的gō͘--geh0; 唸ngó͘-goa̍t是指five months, 相當於白話的gō͘-gè-ge̍h.

Goá nā-sī boh kóng five months goá oē kóng gō͘-koh-ge̍h a̍h-sī gō͘-ge̍h-ji̍t.

Goá nā-sī kóng a̍h-sī thiaⁿ-tio̍h "ngó-goa̍t",   goá gê/ê ì-sū, goá gê/ê lí-kái sī Hàn-jī 五月or 伍月.

 

ps: Goá chham goán-gê hiong-chhin chò-hoé lóng-sī kóng Goá-gê mn̍gh-kiāⁿ, m̄-sī kóng Goá-ê mi̍h-kiāⁿ.  :)
