Find a new way to save our beloved and respected Lim Gi-hiong: Lin’s last resort is to go on a hunger strike to force Ma and KMT to soften their rigid stand on nuclear reactor. This method can be effective against a fellow human but we are facing some nonhuman who does not care nor value life. Trying to convince a de-human, a rational and altruistic method can be in vain.. One more way that we can do m̀ Let’s elect Lin as our next president. From Ma’s way of doing politics, we know he holds the veto power on everything. Once he nodes his head, everything becomes lawful.. the power of a president. let us convince Lin to change his course of hunger strike m̀ let him live on and run for the next president and then he can change the course for Taiwan. Can someone talk to him and convince him to try this most effective way of changing Taiwan’s destiny-- Stop hunger strike and announce a new course of fighting --- run for next president. Thank. 〔記者李欣芳／台北報導〕前民進黨主席林義雄為要求馬政府停建核四，在義光教會的禁食行動進入第五天，周末假日湧現人潮，今天下午三時，義光教會外民眾大排長龍，許多民眾排隊等候進入教會裡，要留言向林義雄致意，更有遠自美國來的台僑專程來向林義雄致意。
六十六歲的張宗欽表示，他是從高雄北上，來向林義雄致意，雖然要排隊排很長，但沒關係，都遠從高雄過來了。 張宗欽說，台灣應趕快停建核四，要全面廢核，他認為馬英九對核四爭議的說法，根本是在騙人！ 還有一位遠自美國來的台僑表示，她很擔心林義雄的身體狀況，因此專程前來向林致意，她強調，林義雄的精神與行動，讓人非常敬佩、感動，這位台僑並一度眼眶泛紅，難過地說不出話來。 下午眾多民眾到義光教會向林義雄致意，排隊的隊伍還繞到巷弄裡，其中也有不少人還擬進一步要到凱道參與全國廢核平台發動的靜坐包圍總統府行動。
