Dear Ungian,
Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is JR from Houston, Texas, USA. My wife, Shirley, and Mrs. Leeching Hwang are teaching second generation Taiwanese POJ here in the Taiwanese Community Center on Saturdays.
Lately, we have been compiling the class handouts into files from those collected in the past 20 some years, some with or without handwritten originals, some typed with DOS HOTSYS, and another in old Word files with tones using all sorts of symbols. Volunteering in compiling and typing POJ texts in the evenings with a full time job is really a challenge. But it is the call for our mother land, Taiwan, that unfailingly tugs the chord deep in our hearts and keeps us going.
I have downloaded Taiwanese210 and twu3 from the Internet, installed them in English Window XP Pro SP2, and used English Word 2003 to type POJ. It all works very well.
But this does not work out in English Window Vista and Word 2003. After installation of Taiwanese210 and Twu3, the IME selection menu is conspicuously missing Taiwanese IME, other than the previously installed English and Chinese (Taiwan) IMEs. Toned POJ can not be typed. Wondering if you can help resolving the issue? I am willing to pay a reasonable fee.
Most Later PCs come with Window Vista. We also have MS Office Pro 2007 available.
I was given the web site: WWW.phahhng.com. But it is a broken link. "Taiwanese210 kap twu3" was downloaded from your site from Google search. To be honest, I did not pay for the download.
